Winfried Völklein, NOTP CEO: „Steve Hackett and the Loreley share a lot of Prog history. Genesis played a legendary show in 1976 and Steve and his band delivered astounding performances at several Night Of The Prog Festivals in the past. Now heís back after 6 years to headline the festival in 2021 and I am looking forward to seeing him performing the Seconds Out & More show on Saturday evening.î
STEVE HACKETT is one of the key figures of the Progressive Rock genre. From his early days with Genesis and throughout his complete solo career, he delivered music that was acclaimed by both, fans and critics. While he has always enjoyed exploring music and sounds beyond the progressive rock genre, Steve also plays Genesis classics to enthusiastic crowds worldwide. His new Genesis Revisited show focuses on the legendary live album Seconds Out. Fans can expect all classics from that album in its entirety plus several additional tracks.
Steve Hackett says about the Night Of The Prog Festival: „I’m thrilled to headline the 15th Night Of The Prog in 2021 with my Genesis Revisited: Seconds Out & More show. Genesis played a memorable gig at Loreley in 1976 which is a happy memory for me. I always enjoy returning with my own band. I hope to see many of you there on this magnificent festival site“
Steve will be joined on stage by Roger King on keyboards, Craig Blundell on drums, Rob Townsend (sax, flute, percussion), Jonas Reingold on bass and 12 string guitar, and vocalist Nad Sylvan.
Steve and his band will perform this show in the later evening on Saturday, 17th July 2021 on the legendary Loreley stage.
