NOTP 2020 – Sunday, 19th July: RPWL confirmed

RPWL look back at a long history. The progressive rock band from Germany was formed in 1997 by Yogi Lang, Kalle Wallner, Chris Postl and Phil Paul Risettio as a Pink Floyd tribute band, but they quickly wrote and recorded their own music.

They have released ten studio albums so far and they have worked with other artists as well, both with RPWL (such as Ray Wilson as guest vocalist) and also in the frame of some of their solo projects (i.e. John Jowitt for Blind Ego or Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt within Yogi Lang’s own solo project).

In 2019, the band has released their latest studio album, Tales From Outer Space. The album reached the Top 50 in Germany and the seven songs deal with Science Fiction. They once more went on tour, which was acclaimed by both, fans and critics. Reason enough for the band to release another Live-album Live From Outer Space on 2CD, Vinyl and Blu-ray / DVD.

For 2020, the band will perform a best of RPWL set during selected festivals. Also, their first album God Has Failed will celebrate its 20th anniversary this fall so we can expect some special songs from the early phase of the band.

RPWL will co-headline on Sunday, 19th July 2020.
