NOTP 2020 – Saturday, 18th July: GABRIEL

Gabriel Agudo is a singer, songwriter, musician and producer born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is associated with the progressive rock genre. Currently as a solo artist, he became known as former lead singer and one of the main songwriters in the band Bad Dreams. Gabriel is also one of the lead singers of the In Continuum Band (Dave Kerzner’s supergroup project), and also the lead singer of The Steve Rothery Band while touring in South America. 

During his career, Gabriel had shared stage with Steve Rothery (Marillion), Clive Nolan (Pendragon/Arena), Ray Wilson (Genesis), Micheal Sadler (Saga) and Jon Davidson (Yes) among many others. He had been opening act of Marillion on last Marillion Weekend in Port Zelande, Holland. 

As member of In Continuum band, the Dave Kerzner’s project featuring Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, The Mute Gods, The Aristocrasts, The Sea Within, Joe Satriani), Matt Dorsey (Sound of Contact) and Randy McStine (The Fringe/Sound of Contact) he participates in the two officially released albums: “Acceleration Theory I” (2018) and “Acceleration Theory Part II – Annihalation” (2019) featuring special guests as Steve Hackett (Genesis), Steve Rothery (Marillion), Michael Sadler (Saga) and John Wesley (Porcupine Tree).

In 2019 Gabriel launched his solo career and in early 2020 he will released the album NEW LIFE that will be officially presented at Cruise to the Edge and Night Of The Prog prestigious festivals.  The album features as special guests Steve Rothery (Marillion), Clive Nolan (Pendragon/Arena), Jan Vincent Velazco (,Pendragon),  Dave Kerzner (Sound of Contact/In Continuum), Fernando Perdomo (Dave Kerzner Band / Echo in the Canyon / Solo project), Christophe Lebled (Jon Anderson), Hélène Collerette (1st. Violin of Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra and  René Bosc (orchestra director of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, National de France, and Radio France among many others) who is also the co-musical producer & director of the album together with Gabriel.

Gabriel will perform on Saturday, 18th July 2020
